A leading US agency institutional brokerage firm, seeks seasoned fixed income sales and trading professionals. Individuals will join an experienced team that trades a wide range of products, and will be an important addition to further expanding our existing business. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in client coverage and revenue generation. Candidates must be self-starters, entrepreneurial, and team orientated.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with buy side clients, with a specific emphasis on bringing over a portable book of relationships.
• Provide clients with high touch service, including effective trading communication, monitoring holdings/watch lists, showing natural liquidity, identifying opportunities and risks for clients’ portfolios, and delivering best execution.
• Assess market dynamics as it relates to trading levels, liquidity, and flows, and communicate ideas and strategies effectively to clients.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate closely with other asset class teams to promote cross-selling across the firm.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in client coverage/trading
• In-depth understanding of fixed income markets, products, and structures
• Proven relationships with fixed income institutional investors
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
• Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Self-starter
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
